The Perils of a Parkless Town

Remiscent of Longstreth reading. This is a trademark of the modern American suburb - the cul-de-sac. Houses are surrounded by a sea of pavement. The developer did not want to spend money on public space or need to maintain it. Since there is no public space or park, kids play in the street.

  1. Longstreth is writing about the perils of not having parking. These photos are illustrating...sprawl? More analysis!
